Before you begin

- Save relevant stores to a personal watchlist and organize them with lead stages.
- Contact details, product data, and exports depend on your access.
A place to start your Shopify research
Kraviyo is a business intelligence platform for researching Shopify stores. It brings public storefront information into searchable profiles, so you can review a business and decide whether it belongs on your shortlist.
For an agency, that might mean finding stores that suit a service you offer. A founder might use the same profiles to compare how businesses in a category describe and present their products.
What you can learn about a store
Each profile brings together the information available for that business. Depending on the store and your plan, that can include:
- Store details: the name, website, description, and available business information.
- Contact channels: public email addresses, phone numbers, or contact forms where found.
- Social links: the store's public channels, such as Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
- Product samples: captured names, prices, images, and public availability where collected.
- Google visibility: observations that help you investigate a store's search footprint.
- Source context: available dates and evidence to help you check where a finding came from.
Turn your research into a shortlist
Start with the kind of business you want to understand or work with, then narrow the library to stores that fit.
Find a starting set of stores
Search the library and use the available filters to narrow what you see. You can filter by contacts, social channels, Google visibility, and product data where your plan includes it.
Read the profile
Check what the business sells, which details are available, and any available collection dates. Open the store's own website to investigate anything important to your decision.
Keep a useful shortlist
Save relevant stores to your watchlist. Use lead stages to track where each store stands in your research or follow-up. Export selected records if your plan includes CSV exports.
Put the information to use
The Kraviyo journal covers practical ways to research Shopify businesses. The theme-identification guide, for example, explains how to check a store's theme and keep the evidence with your conclusion.
The guides are public, so you can read them before opening a workspace account.
Check the coverage before drawing conclusions
Profiles differ in how much information is available and how recently it was collected. A missing contact or product sample is a reason to check the source yourself. It doesn't tell you that the business has no contacts or products.
Kraviyo uses public business information. It doesn't expose a store's private Shopify admin, customer records, sales analytics, or exact stock quantities. Google visibility observations describe a search footprint; they don't measure traffic or revenue.
