Commerce rewards
a closer look.
Kraviyo is an independent Shopify business intelligence platform. This publication is an open place to explore how better questions, public evidence, and thoughtful research can reveal the business behind a storefront.
Written with context.
Kraviyo Research is the publication’s editorial team. We write practical field guides on storefront research, product observations, app signals, and the methods behind a useful comparison. Our byline identifies the team responsible for the work.
We distinguish guides from empirical reports. A guide explains a method. A report must describe its observations, coverage, dates, and limitations. We do not present illustrative numbers as measured research.
The evidence comes first.
- Define the question. State what is being compared, how stores qualify, and which observations are relevant.
- Keep the source in view. Record the origin and date of an observation. Public store information is partial and changes over time.
- Describe coverage. Missing information remains unknown. A sample of observed stores does not represent all of Shopify.
- Separate signal from inference. A catalog change is an observation. Revenue, business growth, and the reasons for a change require further evidence.
- Make revision visible. Articles show publication and modification dates. Empirical reports should also identify their observation period and any material revisions.
An open publication.
A deeper workspace.
Our field notes are public. For readers who want to continue their own research, the Kraviyo workspace brings available public business details, contact channels, product samples, and search observations into store profiles.
Coverage varies by store. The workspace does not provide private Shopify sales, customer records, or inventory. Membership access is described on the plans page.
